About
Allie Eathorne joined the MRINZ in 2014 as a summer intern, and is now a core member of the institute’s Data and Quality Management team. Allie is a dedicated advocate for the generation of high-quality, reliable, and statistically sound data from clinical trials.

With a keen interest in statistics and clinical data management, Allie oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of data in compliance with regulatory standards. Allie completed a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Cell and Molecular Bioscience from Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington in 2020 and is currently undertaking a Master of Applied Statistics with Te Herenga Waka.

 While working at MRINZ, and through ongoing collaboration with international colleagues in her role as Adjunct Fellow at Western Sydney University, Allie has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles in publications such as the Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine.
